Art For Art's Sake

My name is Noelle Blue Moon.

This is my online store where you can physically buy my art to own! Use your human money tokens and exchange them for colourful artworks that you can hang on your walls or gift to a friend. Art is pretty cool, supporting an emerging artist is even more so!

So how about you take a look at some of my creations?

Ongoing and future projects

As a creative person I am constantly receiving inspiration for various projects, paintings, collections ect. As a result I often have many things on the go that take time to complete. Some projects span over years as I work on smaller, one-off type projects. I wanted to write out a list of some ongoing works as a sort of "Coming Soon" preview, as well as a personal reminder to work on these many loose ends.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

Blue Suede Moon Tarot Card Deck

Illustrated Poetry Book Collaboration

Unnamed Graphic Novel

Slate Tile Acrylic Painting Collection

Light Language Landscapes

FUTURE PROJECTS:

Mural Installations

Painting Commissions

Creative Workbook / Colouring Book

About the Artist

Noelle Blue Moon

Actual Human

I've been creating happy little accidents my whole life. For long as I can remember I wanted to be an artist.. From crayons to collage, fingerpaint to oil paint. I've always been mystified by nature and fantasy, dreaming up imaginary worlds and trying to piece together the mysteries of life through art.

In the past I worked mainly with impressionist style watercolour landscapes. I still love painting landscapes but my style has evolved in a slightly more abstract direction and I work with both acrylics and oils now as well as watercolour. My passion now is to create intuitive art, channeling the underlying patterns of life and tapping into the mysterious.

I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but set out to travel across the country a few years back. We now live on a farm in beautiful Qathet / Powell River.

Location

I currently live in Qathet Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. I have a small home studio on an organic farm in the Wildwood community, but I also display my works at The Wishing Well Studio & Gallery in Townsite. The Well is an artist collective run by an awesome team of local artists who help contribute and run the space. It's a multi use safe space and totally chill hangout zone. We have art shows, dance parties, paint night, movie screenings, workshops and more! Come say hi if you're in the area, we'd love to introduce you to our ghosts!
